EaseMyTrip Units Win Tender for MP Electric Buses

EaseMyTrip has made a major move in India’s growing electric vehicle sector by securing Madhya Pradesh’s first inter-city electric bus project. Through its subsidiaries, YoloBus and Easy Green Mobility, the company has won the tender issued by Sagar City Transport Services Limited (SCTSL). The project aims to modernize the state’s public transport with eco-friendly and technologically advanced electric buses.

The electric buses, set for deployment in August 2025, will feature real-time tracking, zero-carbon emission technology, sanitized cabins, and onboard entertainment. This initiative aligns with India’s ‘Make in India’ vision and highlights EaseMyTrip’s commitment to sustainable transportation.

Rikant Pittie, CEO and Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip, emphasized that this step into electric bus manufacturing is driven by high demand observed through YoloBus. With an initial investment of ₹200 crore into Easy Green Mobility, the company aims to expand its inter-city electric bus operations across India.
